Accommodation & Breakfast at The Drake in Plymouth
The Drake was originally built as the private residence of a high ranking Navel officer (circa 1820-30’s). The communal areas of the building retain many of the original architectural features of this period. Of particular interest is the ornate ceiling in the breakfast room which is magnificent.
The accommodation is set out over two floors and is accessed by the original staircases. There are no lifts at The Drake but we are more than happy to assist guests with their bags if needed.
The 11 letting rooms and their en-suite facilities are of various shapes and sizes. They all have hotel quality beds and contemporary wooden furniture. Each room has a digital, flat screen, colour TV with built in Free view. There is a complimentary Tea/coffee tray which is replenished daily and complimentary toiletries. The rooms are serviced daily and towels changed daily if required.
There is an ongoing program of improvements at The Drake to upgrade facilities offered.
